After-school programs often play an important role in promoting healthy lifestyles for youth.
Many programs offer youth opportunities to engage in an array of organized physical activities such as softball, basketball and martial arts. Most programs also serve healthy afternoon snacks while emphasizing the value of a nutritious diet.
Physical fitness activities after school promote health and also serve as crime deterrents, teach youth positive values, and impart knowledge and skills to help youth establish lifelong healthy habits.
Safe, Secure Environment
The Ivy League Before and After School Sports & Recreation Program is designed to help children in Kindergarten through 8th grade build a healthy spirit, mind, and body. We offer our participants a safe, secure environment, a nurturing, professional staff, and lots of fun.
The Ivy League Before and After School Program has incorporated a STEM program. Our STEM program provides a fun hands-on learning experience for the children in our before and after school program.
Our STEM program provides students with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of STEM projects, such as designing a roller coaster, learning to create simple machines, learning about fossils, basic robotics, and more.
Our program is designed to not only help children learn STEM concepts but to also spark an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
