Our News

Get The Facts

  • Overweight children are more prone to heart disease, diabetes, sleep apnea, social discrimination and other health disorders.
  • 1 out of 3 children and teens are considered obese, the chance of developing health problems as an adult only increases as your child’s weight increases.
  • Workouts can help keep kids bones and muscles strong, reduce the risk of diabetes and other chronic diseases, keep obesity away, and provide a mental boost, preventing anxiety and depression.
  • Youth workout programs are NOT simply mini-versions of adult workout programs. Changing sedentary habits by making exercise fun is the first priority, with weight loss and health benefits as a secondary focus.
  • Power lifting, competitive lifting or bodybuilding is not safe for youth until their bodies stop growing and their bones and muscles reach full maturity.

Make sure your children first receive a full medical evaluation from their doctors and get the green light to proceed with any workout plan*
